The role We are currently seeking a Part time (3 days p/w) Legal Secretary to join our IP, Technology and Regulatory practice in our Sydney office working with operators at all levels including partner.

General responsibilities will include

Liaising directly with clients

Drafting and amending relevant correspondence and documents

Creating and lodging court documents

Preparation of briefs

File management including the opening, closing and archiving of files

Monthly client billing and reports plus responding to billing enquiries

Personal assistant tasks (diary and travel management)

Requirements To be successful in this role you will have:





Minimum 2 years' legal secretarial experience in a similar role

Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Proficiency using Expert or similar accounting package and FileSite or similar document management system

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated understanding of the importance of client confidentiality

The ability to work well with others in a team environment

Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
