The successful candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, spray painting and applying protective coatings to fabricated steel, machinery and components to ensure a high-quality finish. 2.30pm + potential OT Pay Rate: $66.49/h

Key Responsibilities
Prepare metal surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking and other preparation methods.
Mix and apply primers, protective coatings and finishing paints.
Operate and maintain spray painting equipment.
Follow paint specifications, work instructions and safety requirements.
Inspect finished coatings and rectify defects.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work workplace.



Skills & Experience
Trade qualification in Industrial Spray Painting, Automotive Refinishing or relevant experience.
Experience spray painting steel, machinery or heavy engineering components.
Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application and protective coatings.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
