About the role
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day facilities management operations of a healthcare workplace located in Curl Curl on Sydney's Northern Beaches. This role is ideal for an experienced facilities professional who enjoys being visible on-site, working closely with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance, maintenance, and service delivery standards are consistently achieved. Initially offered on a part-time basis (Monday to Friday), the role has the potential to grow into a full-time position as the facility and operational requirements expand.

Key responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs
Manage reactive maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution
Oversea contractor attendance
Maintain a forward maintenance schedule to minimise operational disruption
Select, induct and supervise specialist contractors and service providers
Verify and maintain contractor licences, insurances, certifications and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
Monitor contractor performance and service delivery outcomes




Ensure contractors comply with site-specific healthcare and safety requirements
Maintain the facility compliance register and statutory maintenance calendar
Manage and coordinate required testing, inspections and compliance certifications
Reporting & Budget Management About you
Previous experience in a Facilities Manager, Facilities Coordinator, Property Manager or Maintenance Manager role.
Experience working within healthcare, aged care, medical, hospital, NDIS, disability services or other highly regulated environments.
Solid understanding of building maintenance, contractor management and compliance obligations
Experience coordinating planned and reactive maintenance programs.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency using facilities management systems, and maintenance software.
Solid organisational and reporting capabilities.
A practical, solutions-focused and hands-on approach.
