About the role

IGA Bilgola Plateau is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our supermarket business. This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring effective store performance, solid financial outcomes, and high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily store operations, including staff supervision and workflow coordination
Plan and organise store operations to meet sales targets and business objectives
Monitor financial performance, including sales, margins, wages, and expenses
Control inventory levels, stock ordering, and stock presentation to maximise sales
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and company policies
Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including rostering and performance management
Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer enquiries and complaints




Implement promotional and merchandising strategies to drive sales
Liaise with suppliers and ensure efficient procurement and stock replenishment

About you
Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a retail management or supervisory role
Robust leadership and team management skills
Proven ability to manage store performance and achieve financial targets
Experience in stock control, merchandising, and supplier coordination
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in supermarket or grocery retail highly regarded
