As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by providing skilled and attentive service to our guests throughout their banquet experience. Responsibilities
• Set-Up and Preparation: Assist in the set-up and preparation of banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings according to event specifications.
• Service Execution: Serve food and beverages to guests during events, following established service standards and presentation guidelines. Ensure accurate and prompt delivery of orders.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with guests in a courteous and skilled manner, attending to their needs and inquiries throughout the event. Anticipate guest preferences and provide personalized service when possible.
• Table Maintenance: Monitor tables during events, clearing used dishes, refilling beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the banquet area.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and event coordinators, to ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction.
• Adherence to Policies: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times,



including food safety and alcohol service guidelines.
• Problem Resolution: Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and escalate to management as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Breakdown and Clean-Up: Assist in the breakdown and clean-up of banquet rooms after events, including clearing tables, packing up equipment, and returning items to storage areas. Requirements
• Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced environment and multitask under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry trays, tables, and other event equipment as needed.
• Food safety certification and alcohol service training (e.g., TIPS) are desirable but not mandatory.
