Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year plus superannuation

About us
Montessori Punchbowl is an established Montessori long day care centre, operating since 2014. We care for children aged 0–5 across four classrooms, from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Enrolments are growing, and we are looking for two passionate Child Care Workers to join our team.

About the role
Plan and deliver educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Montessori principles
Prepare and maintain an organised, age-appropriate Montessori learning setting
Supervise children during play, meals, rest and outdoor activities, maintaining educator-to-child ratios
Observe, document and assess children’s learning and development
Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
Ensure children’s health,



hygiene, nutrition and safety
Communicate with families about their child’s progress and wellbeing
Work with the team to meet the National Quality Standard

About you
An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (Certificate III minimum; Diploma or higher preferred)
At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood education and care setting
A current NSW Working with Children Check
Current first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management certificates
Montessori experience or training is highly regarded
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach
