Position Overview The Podiatrist is responsible for providing high-quality podiatry assessment, treatment, education and preventative care services to patients of Bendigo Primary Care Centre. The role focuses on improving patient mobility, foot health and overall wellbeing through evidence-based assessment and management. The Podiatrist works collaboratively with General Practitioners, Nurses and other Allied Health Specialists to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care. The position provides services across:
General podiatry care
Diabetic foot assessments and management
Chronic disease management programs
Musculoskeletal and biomechanical assessments
Preventative foot health education
Medicare and care plan supported services The Podiatrist contributes to quality improvement activities, accreditation requirements and clinical governance initiatives within the organisation.
