Salary Ranger $121,755 to $145,053 per annum
(plus 15.4% superannuation, remote locality allowance and other entitlements in accordance with our Enterprise Agreement)
Thursday Island, QLD (or negotiable for the preferred candidate) The Assistant Director leads complex policy, Cabinet, and budget workstreams, providing authoritative advice and high-level coordination to support senior executives. The role exercises considerable independence, sound judgement, and solid stakeholder influence to ensure policy proposals and financial advice are strategically aligned, evidence based, and compliant with whole of government requirements. The role may also be required to mentor/train a suitable APS6 person to build their skills and experience in Recent Policy Proposal processes. \This position is available to ongoing APS employees only and will be filled through a Section 26 Temporary Transfer arrangement. Location negotiable.\
