The Support Coordinator plays an integral role for NDIS participants in interpreting their NDIS plan, assisting them to establish the support in their plan and develop their capacity over time to coordinate and manage their own supports.Key responsibilitiesAction referrals in a timely mannerSupport NDIS participants to assess mainstream, community, informal and provider options, select preferred options or providers, and negotiate services and pricesDevelop service agreements and create service bookings with preferred providersArrange for assessments required to determine the nature and type of funding requiredDetermine the budget for each support type and advise relevant plan managers of the breakdown of fundsLink participants to mainstream or community services including housing, education, transport, and healthStrengthen and enhance participants' capacity to coordinate supports, self-direct and manage supports and participate in the communityBe the key contact for service issues, complaints,
