Reporting to the General Manager QLD, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of major projects while driving performance, profitability, safety, client relationships, and growth.This is a rare opportunity to influence the delivery of some of Queensland's most complex and high‐profile building projects while leading experienced Project Directors, Construction Managers, and project teams across multiple concurrent projects.The OpportunityAs Operations Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of major projects across sectors including:HealthEducationSports and Community InfrastructureYou will be accountable for the leadership and performance of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring excellence in safety, client outcomes, commercial performance, and operational delivery.Key responsibilities include:Leading the operational performance of a portfolio of key Queensland Building projectsProviding leadership and support to Project Directors, Project Managers and Construction ManagersDriving project delivery excellence across safety, programme, quality and financial outcomesOverseeing commercial performance, contract management and risk mitigationBuilding and maintaining strong client,



consultant and stakeholder relationshipsSupporting work-winning activities and contributing to future pipeline growthCreating a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvementDeveloping leadership capability and succession within the businessAbout YouYou are a proven construction leader with a track record of delivering large-scale building projects and managing complex project portfolios.You will bring:15+ years' leadership experience within the construction industryExperience within a Tier 1 or leading Tier 2 contractor environmentDemonstrated success delivering major projects valued at $500M+ and/or overseeing significant project portfoliosExperience leading multiple concurrent projects and multidisciplinary teamsStrong commercial, contractual and client management capabilityA reputation for developing high-performing teams and achieving exceptional delivery outcomesStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skillsA commitment to safety, operational excellence and quality project deliveryQueensland market experience will be highly regarded, however we are also interested in speaking with exceptional candidates from interstate who are seeking a significant leadership opportunity.Why CPB Contractors?
