as our Assistant Accountant you will be working in a focused and industrious setting within our close-knit team and you will have an opportunity to develop your knowledge of the accounting function of a multiple entity business.What your workdays will look likeWeekly and monthly management reportingInter-entity transaction processingAsset register maintenanceMonth end balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement preparation and inter-entity loan reconciliationsMonthly GST review, and assistance with year-end accounts and year-end auditWhat you'll bringDemonstrating high accuracy and excellent initiative, you are a logical thinker with a passion for working with data and Excel spreadsheets.
You'll also be a team player who possess the ability to work autonomously and as part of our team.
Other requirements to be successful in this role include:Bachelor's degree in accounting with solid academic resultsExperienced with Australian accounting and income tax legislation in respect of trusts, companies and individualsA minimum of two years recent experience in a similar role or public practiceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent Excel skills is a mustMYOB Acumatica experience will be advantageous, but not essentialStrong accuracy and attention to detail skills together with commitment to qualityStrong time management and organisational skillsProactive and positive attitude to your role and ability to pick up new concepts quicklyCA/CPA or studying towards CA/CPA would be advantageous, but not essentialExperience in a multiple entity environment would be highly regardedWhy you need to work for usWe are an exciting fast growing,
