What's requiredCurrent AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse, with relevant qualification and experienceExperience assessing Aged Care Residents and formulating Care PlansUnderstanding and working knowledge of Commonwealth, State and / or Territory legislation and nursing practices.
An understanding of and ability to ensure compliance with residential Aged Care Standards, AN-ACC requirements, Occupational Health and Safety, food safety and other skilled legislative requirementsValid CPR CertificateAbility to communicate (verbally and written) effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteersInterpersonal skills, patience, common sense and a strong ethos of client serviceStrong initiative and ability to work without supervision and be self-motivatedProficiency utilising information technology, with well-developed computer skills including MS OfficeAbility to work a variety of days and shifts as a casualWhat's possibleRewarding work,
