About the role
We are seeking a dedicated, career-minded Full time Pharmacy Assistant to join our front-of-shop team. This permanent role is perfect for someone looking for stable hours and a long-term position within a supportive healthcare setting. You will be the main point of contact for our customers, assisting with over-the-counter products, managing stock, and ensuring the retail space runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide reliable advice on over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, vitamins, skincare, and first-aid supplies.
Support the dispensary team by efficiently managing customer queues, accepting prescriptions, and handing out completed medications.
Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately, and manage daily register reconciliations.
Take ownership of retail stock control, including unpacking orders, price labelling, stock rotation, and setting up visual merchandise displays.
Maintain a clean,



organized, and welcoming environment throughout the front-of-shop area.
Answer incoming phone calls, manage customer inquiries, and handle basic administrative tasks.
Adhere strictly to pharmacy protocols, ensuring all complex or clinical questions are referred to the pharmacist. About you
Proven experience in retail, customer service, or a community pharmacy environment is highly regarded.
Proactive, self-motivated work ethic with commitment to a stable, full time career move.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to help people.
Excellent attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Desirable: A completed Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy or S2/S3 (Pharmacy Medicines) training.
