We have built a solid reputation as a trusted supplier and are looking for a reliable, hands-on Stores and PartsAssistant to join our team at our Branch in Wacol.The RoleThis is a hands-on role with a strong focus on warehouse operations, receiving and dispatching parts, stock control and supporting the day-to-day activities of our Parts Department.Working alongside our experienced parts team, you will help ensure parts are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and on time.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of parts identification, ordering and customer service, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build their skills and progress within the parts industry.We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in getting the details right and is willing to learn.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & DispatchReceive, unload and check incoming parts and stock deliveriesPick, pack and prepare customer and workshop orders for dispatchArrange and coordinate outgoing freight and maintain accurate delivery documentationAssist with stock control,



stocktakes and the investigation of stock discrepanciesMaintain an organised, clean and safe warehouseRecord damaged goods and product quality issues and report discrepanciesComplete general warehouse duties and assist the team where requiredParts & Customer SupportAssist customers and workshop staff with parts enquiries and the supply of partsLearn to identify parts, process orders and use the relevant parts catalogues and computer systemsAssist with parts sales, order processing and the timely supply of parts to customersSupport the team with stock replenishment, parts promotions and merchandising displaysWork closely with the Parts Manager and other team members to ensure customers receive prompt and accurate serviceWhat You Will Need to SucceedExperience in a warehouse, stores, receiving and dispatch or similar hands-on roleGood attention to detail and accuracy when picking, checking and recording stockBasic computer skills and confidence learning new systemsA positive attitude, willingness to learn and a team-focused approachGood communication skills and a customer-focused mindsetAbility to organise your workload,
