You’d rather grow engineers than write every line yourself, but you still want your hands in the code when it counts. This role gives you both.

A Brisbane software product company needs an Software Engineering Team Lead to run one of its teams building cloud-native SaaS. You’ll work side by side with product and design, set the technical direction, and own how the team ships: small increments, solid CI/CD, real test automation, and systems that stay up.

Most of your time goes on people. You’ll coach, give honest feedback, hand out stretch work, and build a team where people raise problems early.

You’ll fit if you’ve:
Led an agile team delivering a SaaS product against sprint goals
Shipped production code in TypeScript/React or C#/.NET Core
Designed and run cloud-native systems with containers, infrastructure as code and proper monitoring
Made delivery calls with product managers, not just taken tickets from them

Time in enterprise SaaS, end user tech or another complex domain helps.
