Piling Rig Operators & Piling Offsiders WantedMCS Civil is a privately owned Australian civil contractor with a strong reputation for delivering specialist civil works across the energy, rail, transport and infrastructure sectors.With a growing pipeline of major infrastructure projects across Regional NSW we are seeking experienced Piling Rig Operators and Piling Crew Members to join our project teams.This is an opportunity to work on large-scale civil infrastructure projects alongside an experienced delivery team, operating industry-leading 25T-65T IMT and Soilmec piling rigs.
Our operators play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality piling works across major projects.Piling Rig Operator Licence and VOC highly regarded.
Piling Rig Statement of Attainment (SOA) accepted.About the RoleYou will be responsible for operating piling rigs safely and efficiently on site, contributing to the successful delivery of piling works.
This role requires a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and productivity in remote project environments.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate piling rigs safely and efficientlyComplete daily pre-starts and equipment inspectionsSet up and position equipment for piling operationsExecute piling works in accordance with project requirementsMonitor equipment performance and piling progressWork to drawings, specifications and approved methodologiesCommunicate with Supervisors, Engineers and ground crewsReport equipment faults, hazards and changing site conditionsMaintain operational and production recordsAssist with piling operations and general site duties as requiredMinimum 2 years' experience in piling or piling rig offsider experienceHRWL with Dogging (Class DG) highly advantageousSupport the setup, positioning and preparation of piling equipmentHandle piling tools, equipment and materials as requiredAssist with bored, CFA, driven piling or other piling activitiesComplete daily pre-starts and assist with equipment inspectionsMaintain a clean, organised and safe work areaFollow site safety procedures,



SWMS and approved work methodologiesCommunicate effectively with rig operators, Supervisors, Engineers and ground crewsIdentify and report hazards, equipment faults and changing site conditionsAssist with general civil construction duties as requiredAbout YouWe are looking for experienced Piling Rig Operators who take pride in their work, operate safely and work well as part of a project team.Proven experience operating piling rigs on civil or infrastructure projectsExperience with bored, CFA, driven piling or similar piling operationsExperience operating IMT, Soilmec or similar piling rigs highly regardedStrong understanding of safe piling operations and site proceduresStrong knowledge of piling operations and equipmentAbility to identify ground conditions, equipment issues and operational risksAbility to read and follow piling plans, specifications and site documentationStrong understanding of production requirements and maintaining efficient operationsReliable and adaptable, with the ability to work DIDO/FIFO rostersStrong team player with the ability to take direction and work collaborativelyStrong commitment to safety, quality and productivityRequirementsPiling Rig Operator Licence and VOC HIGHLY regarded, access to full project portfolioPiling Rig Statement of Attainment (SOA) accepted, subject to site approvalCurrent White CardRelevant tickets and competencies for operating associated plant and equipmentAbility to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screeningAbility to work DIDO/FIFO rosters across regional project locationsStrong commitment to safety,
