CPB Contractors has more than 50 major infrastructure projects in delivery, across all key sectors of the construction industry, including roads and bridges, rail, tunnelling, defence, airports, buildings and resources, providing you with career opportunities for years to come.The ProjectThe Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project will double the number of rail tracks and upgrade stations for a section of the Gold Coast Line from Kuraby, a suburb approximately 16km south of Brisbane's CBD, to Beenleigh, a suburb of Logan City.Your opportunityReporting into the Sustainability Lead, the Sustainability Advisor will support projects in both tender and delivery phase.
The role is responsible for:Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve sustainability outcomes in both construction and operationEngage and educate project teams on sustainable design and construction practices and principles.Identification, implementation and monitoring of sustainability in design principles across key design milestones on the projectReporting on sustainability performance, including tracking metrics against the Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) Rating toolWorking in collaboration with the design,



procurement and construction teams and disciplines to embed sustainability into project deliveryInvestigating alternatives and innovations to drive sustainability outcomes on projectsWhat You'll Need to SucceedRelevant degree in engineering or environmental science and at least 3 years professional experience in sustainability managementStrong understanding of relevant setting and sustainability legislation, policy, guidelines and rating frameworks including the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Rating SchemeAbility to influence people, nurture relationships and upskill non- subject matter experts and peersPractical experience in delivering design and as built ratings.
