Our pipeline has grown, and we are expanding our commercial team to match it.About the RoleYou will carry your own portfolio of projects end to end, from letting the trades through to final account, working alongside our other contract administrators and reporting to the Director.
These are your projects to run.
You will not be supporting someone else's, and you will not be the only person in the business who understands a payment schedule.What You Will OwnAdministering subcontractor progress claims and issuing payment schedules within statutory timeframes under the Security of Payment ActPreparing and issuing subcontract agreements, and negotiating scope and price with tradesAssessing, pricing and defending variations,



extensions of time and delay claimsRunning procurement and letting schedules across the full trade packageManaging the shop drawing and RFI processes with subcontractors and consultantsFinal accounts, retentions, bank guarantees and project close outAbout YouAt least 5 years as a Contract Administrator in construction, with recent experience on the builder side assessing claims rather than submitting themYou have personally administered AS****, AS****, HIA or Master Builders current home contracts, or a builder's own subcontract formYou have carried your own projects rather than supported someone else'sProcore, or a comparable system you can show us you have runA qualification in Construction Management, Building or a related disciplineBased in Melbourne with full working rightsWhat We OfferYour own projects from day oneDirect access to the Director, with the authority to make calls rather than seek approval for themA portfolio across both residential and commercial rather than one sectorA growing commercial team, so the role has somewhere to goAn office in Thornbury with parking, not a CBD commute
