Warranty Clerk - Working hours to suit full or permanent part time

Pacific Motor Group is a premium multi-franchise new and used cardealership and one of 16 businesses owned by the Pickering family from Townsville.
With continued growth at PMG and new brands joining our line up, we are looking for a Warranty clerk to work with our Ford, Isuzu, and Geely brands in Noosaville.
Hours are adaptable across Monday to Friday, with start and finish times open for discussion.
We're looking for someone with good communication and computer skills who works well within a team.
Previous automotive warranty or dealership administration experience would be highly regarded but is not necessary as you'll have support and training from our Group Warranty Manager, Service Manager and the wider warranty team.
Experience as a Warranty Clerk is not essential however it is highly desirable.
Duties include:
Preparing and submitting warranty claims to manufacturer guidelines.
Reviewing repair orders and technician reports, following up outstanding claims and maintaining accurate records.
Working closely with technicians, service advisers and parts staff to ensure all required information is provided and claims meet manufacturer requirements.
Maintaining warranty storage of return parts and return all requested parts.
Maximizing warranty claims
Keeping and maintaining a warranty claim register.
Completing all warranty Repair Orders.




Understanding and applying all correspondence, service letters, technical bulletins and standard repair time guides.
Maintaining clear direction on factory policy decisions.
Maintaining positive relationships with manufacturer representatives.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct reports, processes, claims, returns, receipting, payments are adhered to.
