Transcend Workforce is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join a leading steel manufacturing and reinforcement workshop based in Truganina. You'll be operating cutting and bending machines in a fast-paced setting.
Machine Operator - Steel Cutting & Bending
Operate heavy-duty, high-precision steel cutting and bending machines
Use of gantry crane to safely move materials
Load steel coils or bars into machines
Monitor automatic feeding, cutting, and bending operations
Transparent jams, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor adjustments
Conduct quality checks against bar schedules
About You
Proven machine operation experience - essential
Background in manufacturing or steel reinforcement
Knowledge of rebar types and grades is a bonus!
Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential
Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure
Must have full Australian working rights
Experience from a heavy manufacturing workplace is essential for this role.
