The standard operating hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Please note that extended hours may be required approximately every six weeks to accommodate incoming shipments.

Your Prospect

As a Terminal Operator at our Kooragang site, you will:
Operate plant equipment to obtain maximum throughput and achieve quality targets
Supervise contract maintenance providers.
Perform preventive maintenance routines and minor maintenance activities
Ship monitoring activities
Undertake daily stock control of receivable cement products and dispatch products and materials to meet leading deadlines
Perform basic root cause analysis of equipment failure
Perform basic troubleshooting across the site.
Basic housekeeping duties

What You’ll Bring
Experience in terminal operations
Experience in bulk loading and unloading (desirable)
Trade qualification in either electrical or mechanical field highly regarded
Forklift Licence (desirable but not compulsory)




First aid certificate (desirable)
Basic computer skills, ideally SAP, Microsoft Excel, TIS
Positive communication and interpersonal skills
