About The Role

We are looking for a Member Services Specialist to join a busy and supportive team on a full-time permanent basis.

You will be responsible for assisting new and existing members, providing accurate information and helping customers navigate a range of enquiries and more complex situations.

Full training and ongoing coaching will be provided.

Duties
Respond to member enquiries across phone, email and other channels
Provide accurate, professional and personalised service
Build strong relationships and hold quality conversations with members
Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records
Assist with more complex enquiries and conflict resolution
Develop a strong understanding of products, systems and processes
Identify opportunities to improve the member experience
Participate in ongoing training, coaching and team activities

Skills & Experience
Previous customer service experience ideally within a corporate setting




Private health insurance experience highly regarded but not essential
Banking or financial services experience also considered
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong active listening, questioning and problem-solving skills
High level of attention to detail and understanding of privacy and confidentiality
Positive, skilled and eager-to-learn attitude
