The Registrar is based in Hobart and works within the Department of Anatomical Pathology at the Royal Hobart Hospital, providing surgical cut-ups and biopsy reporting. It involves participation in multidisciplinary and surgical meetings and a diverse statewide referral case mix with close consultant supervision.

Formal teaching, protected training time and rotations through Forensic Pathology support a well-rounded training experience in an RCPA-accredited department.
