Role overview
KARLAIDLAW is seeking a commercially minded Wholesale & E-commerce Manager to manage and grow the brand's wholesale business while overseeing the day-to-day management and optimisation of its Shopify e-commerce platform.
This role combines wholesale sales, account management, new business development and digital trading.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong retail partnerships, identifying new sales opportunities and ensuring the online store is commercially effective, visually considered and operationally accurate.
Working closely with the Founder, Production and Marketing teams, this person will play an important role in growing both wholesale and direct-to-consumer revenue.
Key responsibilities
Wholesale & Business Development
Manage existing wholesale accounts and develop recent retail partnerships.
Identify and approach prospective stockists in Australia and internationally.
Manage seasonal collection selling, buyer appointments, linesheets and order negotiations.
Achieve wholesale sales targets and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.




Coordinate wholesale orders, delivery expectations and stockist communications.
Shopify Back End Manager
Understanding Logistics including international shipping and freight to maximise international customers.
Refining HS CODES
Helping with user Experience
Using Shopify to raise PO
Understanding and communication to the team analysts of Shopify.
Identify opportunities to improve sales, operational efficiency and customer experience.
Candidate profile
Experience in wholesale, sales or account management within fashion or a related industry.
Hands-on experience with Shopify and e-commerce operations.
Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of online sales performance.
Excellent organisation, communication and relationship management skills.
Confidence managing multiple priorities independently.
An understanding of contemporary fashion, product presentation and brand positioning.
The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially driven and comfortable working across both wholesale relationships and the operational details of an online fashion business.
