Milestone IT is partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced Purchasing Officer for an initial short-term contract, with possibility of extension.

This is a excellent opportunity for a hands-on purchasing professional to support hospital operations by ensuring goods and services are ordered efficiently and delivered when needed. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role and be comfortable working in a quick-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Process purchase orders and manage purchasing requests.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm pricing and coordinate
Maintain accurate purchasing records and update internal systems.
Assist with invoice and purchase order matching, resolving discrepancies where required.
Ensure purchasing activities follow organisational policies and procedures.
Provide general administrative support to the purchasing function as required.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
