Role Description/Criteria

ROLE DESCRIPTION .

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Applicants are asked to demonstrate:
a solid commitment to student wellbeing and child safety.
an ability to work and contribute as part of the whole school team.
an ability to plan, implement and assess learning in line with the Victorian Curriculum, VIT Standards of Skilled Practice, and VCAA requirements.
an understanding of explicit teaching practices and its impact on learning success.




the ability to use data effectively to drive continued learning.
the ability to work in collaboration with leaders and colleagues to analyse school-based data.
the ability to personalise student learning.
excellent interpersonal skills.
excellent organisational and communication skills.

Key Selection Criteria:
Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission;
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration);
A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate;
Demonstrated high-level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;
Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment;
Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.

The successful applicant will be required to begin Jan 27 2027.
