About us
This is a successful cardiology practice providing cardiovascular services to patients across Sydney. The clinic is supported by cardiologists with high-quality diagnostic imaging, and the clinic is looking for an experienced cardiac sonographer to join the team on a regular Thursday.
The role
You’ll run a full-day echocardiography clinic every Thursday and or, with sessions of at least six hours. You’ll work closely with cardiologists to deliver accurate, timely studies that support patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing trans thoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and stress echo / other modalities, for an outpatient list
Producing high-quality images and measurements,
with transparent preliminary reports for the reporting cardiologist
Communicating with patients in a calm, skilled way and making sure they’re comfortable throughout their study
Maintaining equipment, quality standards and documentation in line with accreditation requirements
About you
ASAR-accredited Cardiac Sonographer (essential)
Solid post-accreditation experience in adult echocardiography
Confident using [Philips / GE / your machine] ultrasound systems
Experience in both private clinic and hospital settings is highly regarded
Independent and reliable, able to manage a full clinic list with minimal supervision
Training or mentoring experience is a bonus
