Salary: $90,000 per annum + Super
Retention Bonus: $1,500 after 3 months + $1,500 after 6 months
Roster: Mon - Wed: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm | Thurs - Fri: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Cater Care is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead our kitchen operations at an aged care residence in Horsham.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a Chef who is ready to take ownership of kitchen operations, lead and develop a team, and drive high standards across food quality, service and compliance. More than a traditional Chef role, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for residents while supporting and motivating your team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team, driving performance, engagement and accountability
Oversee daily kitchen operations, food preparation, presentation and service
Manage food and labour costs to achieve budget targets
Order, control and maintain stock inventory levels
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and quality standards
Oversee bulk meal production and preparation of texture-modified meals
