We are seeking an experienced Manager - Data & Analytics Delivery to lead a multidisciplinary data team within a Victorian Government organisation.

You will lead a team comprising 3 direct reports and 14 indirect reports, working closely with senior executives and key stakeholders to drive data innovation and continuous improvement.

Three Key Streams
Data Analytics
Lead the delivery of data analytics, reporting and insights for internal and external stakeholders.
Improve data quality, accessibility and self-service reporting capabilities.
Develop and implement data strategies, delivery roadmaps and ways of working.
Align data initiatives with organisational objectives and business priorities.
Data Lake Development & Management
Oversee the design, development, maintenance and ongoing population of the organisation's data lake.
Ensure effective data integration, governance, quality and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, analysts, developers and specialists, with 3 direct and 14 indirect reports.
Oversee the delivery of data analytics,



reporting solutions and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Drive data strategy, planning, delivery roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage the development, maintenance and population of the data lake, ensuring reliable and accessible data.
Manage project delivery, budgets, risks, governance and stakeholder relationships to achieve business outcomes.

Key Skills & Experience
Extensive leadership experience managing multidisciplinary data and analytics teams in complex organisations.
Robust experience delivering data analytics, reporting, data management and business intelligence solutions.
Demonstrated experience developing data strategies, roadmaps and operating models.
Sound technical understanding of data lakes, data engineering, integration, data quality and governance.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and delivery management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
