Role Overview
An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join a growing credit team based in Melbourne CBD. Reporting into Credit Leadership, you will play a key role in assessing and processing complex lending applications while supporting continuous improvement across credit operations.
Key responsibilities
Assess and submit consumer and business lending applications secured by residential property
Evaluate complex credit scenarios and workshop deals with senior stakeholders
Build strong relationships with brokers, sales teams and internal departments
Conduct detailed due diligence across all lending applications
Ensure compliance with NCCP, AML/CTF and Privacy obligations
Identify opportunities to improve credit processes and operational efficiency
Support reporting requirements and operational excellence initiatives
Skills & Experience
Minimum 10 years' experience in credit analysis,



underwriting or lending assessment
Experience within mortgage lending, banking or financial services environments
Strong understanding of mortgage lending and complex borrower structures including trusts and companies
Familiarity with ApplyOnline or similar loan origination platforms
Exposure to specialist or non-conforming lending environments highly regarded
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace
Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) experience highly regarded
