A client of TTI is uplifting business metadata across high-value datasets (including AI-related work). They need a Senior Metadata Officer who can lead the workstream, stay hands-on, and get metadata to a consistent, "fit for registration" standard.
What you'll do
Lead metadata development for assigned datasets (plan, prioritise, allocate work)
Supervise/coaching metadata developers and lift quality
Identify gaps/duplication/inconsistencies and harmonise definitions
Write clear, plain-English metadata for business and technical audiences
QA outputs and manage registration feedback
Engage SMEs, data stewards, engineers/analysts and project contacts
Track progress, coverage, risks and registration status, support stewardship handover
Must have
Robust ISO/IEC ***** metadata registry experience
Knowledge of ONDC / National Archives / DCAT (or ability to learn quickly)
Proven leadership in metadata development and/or QA/data management
