Independent Education Union of Australia – NSW/ACT Branch is seeking a field-based organiser to recruit, engage and empower members, build robust workplace chapters and support union campaigns across the region.
This hands-on role involves visiting educational workplaces, advising and representing members on workplace and employment matters, and collaborating with school representatives. Some weekend work and travel to schools outside Newcastle are expected.
