About The Role
Kinetic IT is looking for a Network Architect to partner closely with one of our key State Government customers, shaping end-to-end architecture across Cisco SD-Access, ACI, ISE, SD-WAN and Firepower. You'll lead the design thinking across network, cloud and infrastructure projects, produce high-level designs (HLDs) and clear documentation, and use your stakeholder management skills to turn strategy into scalable, security-first solutions.
Responsibilities will include
Designing end-to-end network architecture across Cisco SDA, ACI, ISE, SD-WAN and Firepower, keeping solutions scalable, secure and aligned to the customer's strategy
Developing designs, roadmaps and technical standards
Architecting the Cisco SD-Access campus and ACI data centre fabrics, including segmentation, policy and automation
Designing identity-based access and segmentation using Cisco ISE
Shaping a resilient Cisco SD-WAN architecture
Defining firewall, perimeter security and load balancing architecture across Firepower, Check Point and F5
Acting as the technical design authority, assessing current-state architecture and recommending modernisation improvements
Partnering with Security Operations and broader IT teams to embed security-by-design across the network
Providing technical leadership and expert escalation, and maintaining clear architecture documentation
