Key Responsibilities
Lead the estimating function across commercial newbuild, fitout and refurbishment projects
Manage tenders from initial review through to final submission




Develop competitive pricing strategies and provide commercial input on major bids
Prepare and review detailed estimates, BOQs, subcontractor comparisons and value engineering prospects
Assess tender risks, procurement strategies and project feasibility
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
Build, mentor and develop the estimating team as the business continues to grow
Work closely with Directors and project delivery teams to secure profitable projects

Skills & Experience
8+ years' estimating experience with a commercial head contractor
Solid project experience across commercial newbuild, fitout and refurbishment
Experience tendering projects across education, healthcare, government, industrial and commercial sectors
Strong understanding of D&C;, ECI and Construct Only procurement methodologies
Previous leadership experience or ambition to progress into an Estimating Manager role
Strong commercial acumen, subcontractor negotiation and tender management skills
Proficiency in Cubit, CostX, EstimateOne or similar estimating software
