Chemist Discount Centre Morwell is looking for several Pharmacy Assistants to join our team. We have a number of opportunities available and are looking for team members who enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy environment and want to be part of a supportive community pharmacy.
About the role
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll work closely with our pharmacists and retail team to provide a welcoming and positive experience for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Assisting customers with general pharmacy and retail enquiries
Processing sales and operating the point-of-sale system
Stocking shelves and maintaining product displays
Receiving, unpacking and rotating stock
Helping to keep the pharmacy clean, organized and well presented
Supporting promotions and merchandising
Working collaboratively with the wider pharmacy team
Following pharmacy procedures, policies and safety requirements
Hours
We're looking for candidates who can work across our opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
There are several positions available,



and hours can be discussed depending on availability and the needs of the pharmacy.
About you

Are friendly, approachable and confident communicating with customers
Are reliable and enjoy being part of a team
Can work effectively in a busy retail environment
Have good attention to detail
Are willing to learn and develop your pharmacy knowledge
Have flexibility to work across weekdays and Saturdays
Previous pharmacy or retail experience would be highly regarded, however candidates with a excellent attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
