The Role: We are seeking a talented and passionate chef to lead our kitchen team.
You will be the creative force behind our Mediterranean-inspired menu, ensuring each dish meets our high standards of taste and presentation.
You will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, cafe service, and maintaining a positive and productive environment for our team.
Working closely with the owner to help pioneer and grow the cafe, we hope to find someone that shares the same passion for food and community.
Key Responsibilities: Kitchen Management - oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and quality control.
Team Leadership - lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff, fostering a team-oriented and efficient team environment.




Cost Control - manage food costs and labor to ensure profitability while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Innovation - stay updated with industry trends and continuously seek opportunities to enhance our offerings and improve kitchen processes.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a senior kitchen role.
Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and techniques, with a keen understanding of seed oil-free cooking practices.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications are preferred.
