About the Role LaserFold is seeking an experienced ICT Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee software quality assurance and testing activities associated with its digital business platforms and integrated operational systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing testing strategies, evaluating software functionality, identifying system defects and ensuring that digital applications operate reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement software quality assurance strategies, standards and testing procedures.
Conduct functional, system, integration and regression testing of business applications and digital platforms.
Test online quotation and ordering systems to ensure accurate processing of customer requests and transactions.
Validate the functionality of customer design-upload systems, including DXF and DWG file processing.
Assess software performance, reliability, usability and compatibility across different operating environments.
Design, develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts and testing documentation.
Identify,



analyse and document software defects, inconsistencies and system performance issues.
Work with software developers and technical service providers to investigate defects and implement corrective solutions.
Conduct user acceptance testing for current software releases, system upgrades and application enhancements.
Evaluate integration between online ordering applications, business systems and manufacturing workflows.
Monitor software quality following system updates and recommend improvements to application performance.
Prepare quality assurance reports and provide recommendations to management regarding software reliability and system improvements.
Selection Criteria Essential: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Relevant experience in software quality assurance and application testing.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect management and test documentation.
Experience conducting functional, integration and regression testing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable: Experience with automated software testing tools.
Knowledge of SQL, API testing and software development life cycles.
Experience testing web-based applications and online transaction platforms.
Familiarity with digital workflow systems and application integrations.
