The Role Reporting to the Team Leader, Parks and Gardens, you will undertake diverse work across parks and gardens maintenance, sport and recreation facility maintenance, capital works and special projects from our Berri Depot.
Responsibilities include: Parks, gardens and sport and recreation facility maintenance.
Operating plant, machinery, tools and equipment.
Supporting capital works and special projects.
Completing minor equipment maintenance, plant records and timesheets.
Assisting with community events and emergency activities when required.
About You You will be practical, safety-focused and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
You will have: Demonstrated ability to operate specialised plant and machinery, with sound knowledge of its operation,



maintenance and minor repair.
A current SA Driver's Licence (Class MR minimum).
A Construction Induction White Card.
Relevant plant and machinery competencies.
Workzone Traffic Management Accreditation and First Aid, or willingness to obtain them.
Qualifications in horticulture, irrigation or civil works (or demonstrated plant and machinery experience) and ChemCert or similar certification will be highly regarded.
In Return Permanent, full-time position.
A nine-day fortnight.
Varied outdoor work across the council.
