Cropping Operations Manager Southern Wheatbelt, WA (near Ongerup and Jerramungup) $130,000 to $150,000 plus super, depending on experience Full time, permanent A progressive, family owned broadacre cropping business in the southern wheatbelt of WA is looking for an experienced Cropping Operations Manager to run the day to day on a 16,500ha cropping program and bring a young team along with them.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS The operation runs a 16,500ha cropping program, alongside contract earthmoving, bulk freight logistics and prime lamb lot feeding, so there's real variety across the year.
It's a supportive family business, and you'll work closely with the owners.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Managing daily cropping and machinery operations together with the owners • Putting your broadacre cropping and agronomy knowledge to work across the program • Overseeing machinery and precision ag technology • Leading forward planning and seasonal scheduling • Mentoring and working alongside a young,



developing team • Handling staff communication and day to day coordination • Building teamwork and a positive culture on farm WHAT YOU'LL NEED • Strong broadacre cropping and agronomy knowledge • A valuable understanding of machinery and precision ag technology • Experience leading and managing staff • The ability to plan ahead and schedule seasonal work across a large operation • A strong understanding of current WHS standards • A current Australian driver's licence (MC licence preferred, but not essential) WHAT'S ON OFFER • $130,000 to $150,000 a year plus super, depending on experience • On farm housing, with power, gas and water included • Work ute supplied • Genuine long term career and pay progression with a supportive, progressive family business Please note: this is a permanent role only and isn't suited to backpackers or foreign visa holders.
