About Our Client

Our client is a respected Australian manufacturing and industrial business with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality products and services across multiple industries. This role is initially based in Cannington and will be relocating to Rockingham in the new year.

Job Description
Process accounts payable invoices and resolve invoice discrepancies
Reconcile supplier statements and balance sheet accounts
Assist with general ledger maintenance and trial balance preparation
Process accounts payable payments and administrative invoices
Support payroll processing, timesheet administration and leave management
Complete bank reconciliations and financial data entry
Assist with debtor collections and receipting
Maintain employee records and finance-related documentation
Provide administrative support to the finance and broader business teams
Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives




Support month-end accounting activities and reporting requirements

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:
Accounting, Finance or Commerce degree completed or currently in progress
Studying towards or intending to commence CA or CPA qualifications
Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant, Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Payroll Officer or similar role preferred
Exposure to accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations or general accounting functions desirable
Solid attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop
