Job Description
Prepare and maintain accurate group accounting records to support timely financial reporting.
Review financial data and investigate variances to improve the accuracy of reported information.
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve identified discrepancies.
Prepare journals and supporting documentation in line with internal accounting requirements.
Assist with period-end activities, ensuring key accounting tasks are completed within agreed timeframes.
Compile financial reports and schedules for use by the Accounting & Finance team.
Work with relevant stakeholders to obtain financial information and clarify accounting entries.




Maintain organised records and documentation to support explicit financial reporting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Group Accountant should have:
Experience in group accounting and financial reporting activities.
Solid knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations, journals and period-end processes.
Ability to review financial data, identify variances and resolve discrepancies.
Capability to prepare accurate financial reports, schedules and supporting documentation.
Confidence working with accounting records and maintaining clear financial files.
Ability to work effectively with Accounting & Finance stakeholders to gather information.
