We currently have a position available for a Postie. The position is for 35 hours per week, Monday through to Friday with no weekends or public holidays. Early mornings are required with a 5:30am start at the Australia Post Mail Centre in Bungalow, before heading out to deliver on the postie bike.

A MOTORCYCLE LICENCE IS A MUST, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE

The job:
Delivering mail to customers using a motorcycle supplied by us
Meeting all conduct, diligence and efficiency requirements
A current unrestricted Queensland motorcycle licence
We are looking for someone long term, so unfortunately we cannot offer this job to working holiday or student visas
Training is provided

Friendly, courteous and of neat appearance.



Posties are in daily contact with customers and are therefore a reflection of Australia Post within the community
Possess sound communication and interpersonal skills as you will be in constant contact with customers
Demonstrate a commitment to Occupational Health and Safety standards
Must be trustworthy and reliable
Successful applicant must also be able to pass a police check and security clearance
We work in the rain, hail or shine so we are needing someone who is not afraid to work in all sorts of weather and who isn't afraid of dogs
