A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works.
Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Project Engineer - Roads to lead engineering delivery of road, intersection and access works around existing transport operations.

Key Responsibilities
Develop roadwork staging, temporary traffic arrangements and construction methodologies
Coordinate earthworks, drainage, utilities, pavement, kerb, barrier, lighting,



signage and line-marking interfaces
Lead design reviews, RFIs, survey and pavement-quality planning
Manage subcontract procurement, cost, quantities, production and program recovery
Coordinate road-opening readiness, inspections, testing, defects and authority acceptance
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in civil, construction or transport engineering
5-8 years' contractor experience delivering roads, pavements, drainage and traffic-staged works
Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence
Ability to obtain project-specific rail, site and medical competencies
Contractor-side experience with work packs, RFIs, ITPs, subcontractor coordination and progress measurement
Relocation packages on offer.
Australian experience is required.
