and advisory work.The position will train you in the use of Xero accounting software.Salary is reviewed annually to reflect improvement/development and standards.Your daily duties will include, but not be limited to:Working with accounting software including but not limited to Xero (predominantly), MYOB, Reckon & QuickbooksTax Return Preparation range including and beyond Div7a, CGT to FBTBusiness RegistrationBank Reconciliation and Business Activity Statement preparationVarious accounting work ranging from preparation of financial accounts to assisting with tax planning ensuring all tax legislations are adhered to;Attending relevant client meetingsWriting accounting based content for public use such as website blogsAttend and participate in regular training sessions to maintain and improve technical knowledge;Review of client files to ensure they meet the business standard;Ensure all the business policies and procedures are followed at all times to the best of your ability;Ensure the business database is updated to the best of your knowledge;Ensure all correspondence, internally and externally, is skilled and in a way that best represents the business;About YouYou're a motivated, team-oriented accountant who:Have strong written and verbal communication skillsAre community-minded and empatheticAre eager to learn, develop, and grow with the firmHave valid Australian work rightsBest of luck to all applicants, we look forward to meeting some of you soon!
