Your new company We're working with a major resources organisation in Townsville looking for a Junior Service Desk Analyst to join its IT support team.
This is a great chance for a recent IT graduate, current university student or someone early in their IT career who wants to gain hands-on experience within a large operational environment.Your new role You'll join an established IT support team providing frontline support to users in a hands-on operational environment.
This is an initial contract through to 1 January ****, with a view to extend, based in Townsville.The role operates across a flexible shift-based roster.
During the initial training period, hours will generally range from 15 to 32 hours per week, depending on operational requirements and available shifts, with scope for hours to increase as you become established in the role.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Windows and Microsoft 365 supportUser accounts and accessIncident logging, triage and troubleshootingEnd-user devices and applicationsGeneral IT support and customer serviceWhat you'll need to succeed This role would suit someone looking to take their first steps into an IT career.
