You'll join the audit practice of a global top-tier firm, working across a genuinely varied portfolio, from ASX-listed groups and private equity-backed businesses through to family-owned companies, quick-growing SMEs and not-for-profits.
You'll run audits day to day, work closely with Managers and Partners, and help develop the next generation of the team.Key responsibilitiesRunning external audit engagements from planning through to reportingAuditing clients across sectors including financial services, property and construction, manufacturing, retail, technology and healthcareIdentifying key audit risks and making sure work meets Australian Auditing StandardsReviewing junior staff work and presenting findings to clients and engagement leadersBeing a trusted day-to-day contact for clients' finance teams,



often working directly with founders and owners in family and SME businessesCoaching and supporting junior members of the teamAbout youMinimum 2 years' external audit experience, ideally from a Big 4, mid-tier or chartered firmSolid technical knowledge of AASB and audit methodologyExperience across the full audit cycle, ideally with a mix of listed, private and SME clientsCA, CPA or ACCA qualified, or close to completingMust have full Australian working rightsConfident with clients and comfortable leading a small team on siteA varied portfolio covering listed entities, family businesses, SMEs, private equity-backed groups and not-for-profitsHybrid working with genuine flexibility, including work-from-home days and flexible start and finish timesA clear path to Assistant Manager, backed by structured training and full CA/CPA study supportAdditional leave days, wellbeing initiatives and a paid volunteering dayThe backing and reputation of a global firm with a collaborative, down-to-earth local team
