Macquarie Park, NSWOur client is looking for a full-time Accountant to undertake and advise on aspects of financial analysis, accounting systems and processes, regulatory and compliance based financial reporting, auditing, solvency, and record-keeping accounting systems and their requirements.Other tasks include and are not limited to the following:Month end accounting including balance sheet reconciliations and journalsPreparation of daily cashflow forecastsPreparation and finalisation of monthly financial reports tracking financial performance against budget and analysing variancesPreparation of reports for management and statutory reportingProviding commentary on management reports and identifying areas for improvementUndertake audits investigating and resolving financial discrepancies with thorough research, financial acumen,



and critical thinkingMaintenance of internal controlsPreparation of taxation returns for organisations within the groupCoordinate and communicate accounting matters with other departments and off-site locations within the group.Assist management with the preparation of annual reportsAnalysing trends and financial performance across business unitsTaking part in systems and process improvement initiativesSkills requiredSound knowledge of accounting and financial mattersGood interpersonal and communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to work independently and with teamsQualifications and experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, Commerce or similarMinimum of 1 years of relevant experienceRemunerationThis is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience with a salary package of $80,000-$100,000 per annum + superannuation based on a full time position.
