Collections Officer - $85K-$95K+S ($10K bonus)Our client is Multi Award winning Australian finance company (Top 5 Employers) focusing on the small to medium-sized business market within the Fintech space.The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and passionate Collections officer to join their friendly growing team.
Working in-house you will be responsible for a set portfolio of small to medium business accounts.
You will be responsible for all aspects of account management and arrears collection for your portfolio, with explicit and achievable targets.To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of three years of experience in a commercial or consumer collections environment, with a proven ability to manage collections, negotiate effectively,
problem-solve customer issues and work consistently to targets.What you will be doing:Timely collection of outstanding debtsManaging a ledger of debtors - commercial arrears accountsNegotiating payment arrangements and assistanceLedger management and payment allocationsOther reasonable duties as required by managerEssential skills and experience:The role requires a commercially savvy operator who is able to navigate a broad range of activities, from collections, build client relationships and handle disputes.2 years plus experience in collections ideally handling commercial customersOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsOrganisational excellence and the ability to multitask and prioritiseA customer-centric mindset and commitment to delivering world-class experiencesOnly those with full working rights need apply, background and criminal checks may be conducted.
