Machine &/or Extrusion Operator Night ShiftRecyclable Packaging is seeking a Machine/Extrusion Operator for Night Shift to join our manufacturing team in Seaford, Victoria.
This is a full-time position working permanent night shifts, playing a crucial role in our production operations.
You will be responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion and/or thermoforming machinery to ensure efficient, safe and high-quality production.
This role is essential to maintaining our commitment to delivering quality recyclable packaging solutions to our customers.Key responsibilitiesOperate extrusion machinery and/or thermoforming machinery in accordance with established production schedules and specificationsMonitor machine performance and product quality throughout shift, making adjustments as needed to maintain standardsConduct routine machine maintenance, cleaning and basic troubleshooting to ensure equipment operates optimallyInspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality control standards before dispatchLoad raw materials and manage material flow to keep production lines running continuouslyRecord production data and maintain accurate shift reports and documentationFollow all health and safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all timesCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve issues and maintain workflowSupport a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and safetyWhat we're looking forProven experience preferred, but not necessary as training will be provided,
