You'll spend time with families in the community, complete assessments, develop case plans, provide practical support and connect clients with the health, community and social services they need.You'll work closely with Aboriginal Family Wellness Workers, community services and other professionals, building culturally safe support around children and families.What you'll be doingConducting assessments,

And when you want a change of scenery, regular flights to Darwin make it easy to head back to the city.Essential CriteriaWe're looking for an experienced Social Worker who is keen to build their experience in remote practice.You'll need:A tertiary qualification in Social Work or CounsellingCurrent membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)Experience supporting children and families affected by trauma, adversity or child protection involvementStrong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practiceExperience working respectfully alongside Aboriginal people and communitiesAbility to work independently and confidently in a remote settingCurrent driver's licenceFull Australian working rights
